I have a question involving the voice of wild bard archetype.

I was wondering how limited I am when it comes to level 1 spells? For example, of I wanted to get a race druid spell?

You'd have to be that race, or have access to it some other way (like the 5 star dm chronicle sheet). Otherwise it's the same as a banned spell.

The stinks...i wanted to be a fairytale princess cursed to be a kitsune unless she finds true love. Commune with birds would have made her that lady. Okay, thanks.

Wait! If I made her human, took the heritage feat, chose tengu, then i could get the spell right? So then, id have to take the adopted trait and choose kitsune, then i can get the multiple tail trait from the kitsune, right?

Nope, you don't get around the racial lock in additional resources. You must actually be a member of that race.

So if im not play adv only table, i can do it? Since the additional rules restrics adv tables? I looked at some other posts as well. They seem to be saying that, but you're a 5 star gm. So i figured id ask you as well.http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2pj6p?Racial-Heritage-Feat-Clarification

Racial Heritage would normally work in a Pathfinder homegame. It does not work in Pathfinder Society. This is because the Campaign has a houserule limiting feats, spells and archetypes from the Advanced Race Guide to actual members of that race.

The rules for access to racial stuff is headache inducing in pfs. If you want to try to understand them have asprin and or vodka shots handy.

Am i at least able to get the tails with the adopted trait? -_-

Is there a Trait that gives you a tail?

I know there's a couple that give you a bite attack.

She is talking about the magical tail Kitsune only feat.
So I would say no based on stuff upthread

probably, but I've seen enough rules arguments about it that i wouldn't try it for PFS, unless you play with a few DMs locally and they're okay with it. The cthulu inducing arguments about racial access aside, there's some question as to if you can grow an extra tail if you don't have a tail.

Unless you're going for a strength based princess, why not just mechanically make a kitsune and then say that they're a cursed human? For PFS your non mechanical background options have a lot more freedom than mechanical choices.

Nefreet, I thought they expanded racial heritage into actually working a while back?

Racial Heritage works. You just can't use it to grab goodies from the Advanced Race Guide.

Similarly Aasimars with Scion of Humanity, Planetouched Elementals with Mostly Human, and Half-elf-orcs can all take Racial Heritage.

There's lots of cool stuff to choose from. I especially like Human/Elf Heritage archers with Elven Accuracy.
