A follow-up to my previous question. The rules for blindsight (p.262) were unclear on this. Essentially, I'm asking if blindsight (emotion) will let me sense anyone through a good chunk of the building, or it'll be blocked by walls and floors.

The rule for blindsight does give some indication of physical impediments:

Blindsight works underwater and in fog or smoke, but it typically does not work in a vacuum (although this depends on the nature of the sense; for instance, emotion-based blindsight would work in a vacuum).
It'll take some GM calls to determine what senses are impeded by what environmental conditions. My own view in the case of blindsight (emotion): Absent a physical explanation, it's basically a form of magic that works perfectly up to its range, regardless of physical barriers. Only if some ability explicitly calls itself out as blocking blindsense (emotion) would it be impacted.
