If I'm a wizard summoner and have summoned a LG outsider, and I cast misdirection and choose the LG outsider as the target, if I were to encounter things that have true sight running, would true sight synergize with spells that detect alignment and see my actual alignment?
I am going to assume you mean the True Seeing spell.
That spell only cancels out visual things such as illusions, darkness, and things that are polymorphed.
It does not trump other forms of trickery, and does not enhance spells that let you see auras. It basically improves your normal vision. There is no interaction with other spells such as detect magic.
That's the conclusion we came to as well.
Was wondering if others had differing interpretations.
