Hi Paizo folks,

I have two copies of StarFinder one for me and one for my wife. Tonight we went to use them for the very first time and they are both falling apart. I have sent pictures to the .com address and I hope something can be done. I ordered one direct from Paizo and the other from Barnes and Noble. Can you help me out? What do I need to do?

I'm sorry to hear that! We'll get to your email as soon as we can, but we are currently working through a big backlog, so I'm not sure how long that may take.

For the one that you ordered from Barnes and Noble, you'll need to work with them for a resolution. For any of our products that are defective in some way or another, and are purchased through a retailer other than paizo.com, the customer needs to try to get a resolution through the retailer it was purchased from, whether that be an exchange or refund.

The retailer can then get a replacement or credit from their distributor, who gets a replacement or credit from us. This ensures that bookkeeping for damages or manufacturing errors is coming back to us through the same channels they went out.

i actually tried ti take the one back to barnes and noble but they will inly do an even exchange and all four copies in stock were falling apart. They didnt seem to care so im turning to you guys for help.

My local Barnes and Noble will only do an even exchange and when I pointed out the four in stock were also damaged they told me there were none in their warehouses. Can I continue to use my damaged copies realizing they were get worse or do I need to set them aside to ship back to you folks?

I took a drive to a Barnes and Noble out of town and was able to exchange the book I had bought from them so half my problem is fixed. I still have one that is defective that came from you folks. I will wait for your further instructions.
