Hi there,
I purchased two copies of the Starfinder Core Rulebook in hopes to GM the first adventure path.
I had owned them for two days and both bindings have broken from the spine of the hardcover. At $59.99 before tax this is very upsetting.
Is there anything that you can do to replace them with a set that didn't come from the same group of manufactured books? I don't want to just return them to the store to have the same problem again with the other books they received at the same time.
I sent this message with images of the books attached to the customer service email but I haven't heard back in over a week.
A response would be wonderful.

I’m sorry we haven’t been able to get to your email yet. We have been receiving an extremely high volume of inquiries and have been short staffed for various reasons, so we're trying to catch up on the backlog as quickly as we can.
If you ordered it from us, we appreciate your patience and will get you taken care of as soon as we can.
If you ordered it from another retailer, your first step should be to work with that retailer for an exchange or replacement (they should then be able to get a replacement or credit from their distributor, who gets a replacement or credit from us).
