Starfinder CRB Binding Problem

I purchased the Starfinder Core Rulebook on Aug 17, and the binding started to have problems and come apart within the first few days of use (this has never happened to a rulebook of mine before, especially not one owned for such a short period of time). I've noticed that this problem seems to be quite common, and was wondering if anything could be done, because I really enjoy the Starfinder game and can't really afford to buy a new rulebook.

I’m sorry we haven’t been able to get to your email yet. We have been receiving an extremely high volume of inquiries and have been short staffed for various reasons, so we're trying to catch up on the backlog as quickly as we can.

If you ordered it from us, we appreciate your patience and will get you taken care of as soon as we can.

If you ordered it from another retailer, your first step should be to work with that retailer for an exchange or replacement (they should then be able to get a replacement or credit from their distributor, who gets a replacement or credit from us).
