Can Second Skin be worn under armor?

Rules Questions

The CRB description for Second Skin states that it can be worn under clothes, does this include other pieces of armor?

As clothes aren't armor, nothing indicates it. You can wear light armor under power armor, but nothing suggests that you can layer suits of light or heavy armor.

I'd say yes, but you get no real benefit from it since your other armor will almost invariably be better, there are only 2 armors in the game weaker than Second Skin.

True. I was just thinking that a Goblin Operative living in a slum on Absalom would be more likely to own a suit of second skin (for sneaking, and lookin' naked) under their cheap stationwear than they would be to own a set of Kasatha microcord. At least at first level. And it does give you a a small bump to both EAC and KAC as well as an upgrade slot for a pretty marginal investment.

I'd allow the better bonus to EAC or KAC to be active, but only allow the outer armor's slot to be active.

Well, I mean Starfinder still follows the Pathfinder rule of "Only one bonus, of one kind, to any one thing, at any one time."

So, if you have +0/+1 armor underneath +1/+1 armor, it is only +1/+1
