Hello guys, I am looking to a maximized build of my Fighter.
He is a dwarf and will use dual weilded shield since it is a close weapon to attack.
Dwarf Fighter(brawler) LVL 3
Traits:
Shield Trained(religion)- Heavy shields are considered light weapons.
Shield Bearer- Shield bash deals aditional 1 damage and once a day you can dive +2 to a friends AC.
Defender of the society- + 1 AC
Drawback: Overprotective- -2 to attack and skill checke when a fallen ally is farther then 10 feets.
My DM gave us 32 points to build our atributes:
Racial Bonus
Str-18 18
Dex-16 16
Con-14 +2 16
Int-12 12
Wis-8 +2 10
Cha-10 -2 8
High Dex to make TWF viable.
Actualy we are playing a campaing at lvl 3.
so these are the feat that i thought for the build:
1- Improved Shield Bash
1- Two-Weapon Fightinig
2- Weapon focus Heavy Shields
3- Power attack
4- Combat reflexes
5- Step up? - Thinking on give some trouble to casters
6- Improved TWF
7- Shield Slam
8- Weapon specialization Heavy Shield
9- Improved Critical Heavy Shield
10- Disruptive(behold the mage killer buahuahuahuahau)
11- Shield master
Brawler archtype:
This makes the fighter lose all armor training/mastery but gives a good burst on weapon training in its on way.
close control:
At 2nd level, a brawler becomes skilled at forcefully moving his opponent around the battlefield. The brawler gains a +1 bonus on bull rush, drag, and reposition combat maneuver checks. The brawler also gains a +1 bonus to CMD when attacked with the bull rush, drag, and reposition maneuvers. These bonuses increase by +1 for every four levels after 2nd (to a maximum of +5 at 18th level).
This ability replaces armor training 1.
Close Combatent:
+ 1 on attack rolls and +3(+1/+1 all other 4th lvls) on damage at lvl 3? Yes please!!
Menacing Stance:
At 7th level, a brawler constantly harries and distracts his enemies. While adjacent to the brawler, enemies take a –1 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty on concentration checks. Poor MAGE!
No escape:
At 9th level, taking a 5-foot step out of the area of a brawler’s menacing stance or moving out of the area of a brawler’s menacing stance with a withdraw action provokes an attack of opportunity from the brawler.
No, come here and fight me!!
So this is the core build of the dwarf brawler.
So this is my Equipments now:
Breastplate + 6 Ac + 3 dexterity
2 Spiked heavy shields: + 2 AC
My AC became: 22(+6armor+3dex+2Shield+1trait)
So he has a decent AC
Lets go to the weapons:
Dual Spiked shields-
Attack:
BAB +3 STR + 4 Close combatant + 1 WF +1 = +9 -2TwF = +7
+7/+7
Damage:
STR+4 Close combatant +3 Shield Bearer+1
Now he basically have 2 +7/+7 attack with 1d6+8/1d6+6 on damage
Spiked shield damage =1d6
What is your thoughts about this build? Have any advice to improve it?
