I am working on my build and I came across this...
"This lasts for 1 round or until you leave X mode..."
So... What if you aren't *in* that mode? It seems to have indicated that you totally can use them while in the other mode, because they all say "if you are attuned" and you become attuned the second you gain 1 point in it (unless you are unbalanced).
So... Is this "1 round or until you leave X mode, whichever is longer" or "1 round or until you leave X mode, whichever comes first?"
If it is the former... That makes Solarians a little more beefy.
If it is the latter... Then shouldn't these only be useable in X mode?
So... What is it?

Stellar revelations, page 102.
"A revelation that says it lasts for 1 round or until you leave the associated mode lasts for whichever of these durations is longer. You can use stellar revelations both in and out of combat, but since you can’t enter a stellar mode outside of battle, any revelation that lasts for 1 round or as long as you’re in a stellar mode lasts only 1 round if you’re not in combat."
Not in the right mode? It lasts 1 round.
In the right mode? It lasts until you leave it.
