Shipping costs for Starfinder Core

I was going to subscribe to the Starfinder books and adventure paths releases but then I saw the shipping cost for the Core Rulebook. Why does it cost almost as much as the book (59.99 for book and 46 for shipping)? I know that I'm in canada but that's still really high.

Hello Johann,

The shipping rates you see are what the postal service charges. We do not make any money on shipping. The Starfinder Core Rulebook is just shy of 4 pounds, so shipping for it can be expensive. International shipping can be very expensive as with a book that size the only available shipping options are priority mail and UPS International.
