Just wondering how the bounty hunter's mark ability at 1st level will interact in a SFS scenario

If you're wondering about the one week penalty, that will only apply if you change marks during the scenario. Downtime between scenarios is as long as it needs to be. You always start new scenarios fresh.

If you're wondering something else, you'll need to be more specific. I don't see anything in the theme that wouldn't work in an organized play environment.

You can instead abandon your mark for a new one without defeating it, but if you do so, you take a –2 penalty to all skill checks for 1 week.

It would affect you as written. If a bounty hunter, during the course of an adventure, abandons their mark they will have a -2 on all skill checks for a week. I can see how some adventures might actually have that much down time in the actual adventure. Travel by Drift drive takes a long time unless it is to Absalom Station.

On page 291: travel to the Vast takes 5d6 days, near space takes 3d6 days, to Absalom Station 1d6 days.

So for example if the scenario calls for you to find say "Bob the Solider", could you declare that he is your 'Mark' for the scenario?
