Delayed Consumption and Energy Resist extract (Alchemist)

Rules Questions

How would these two work together?

A: Drink delayed consumption, drink energy resist. When you activate the delayed energy resist you choose the type.

B: Drink delayed consumption, drink energy resist, choose type. When you activate the type of resist is the chosen type on consumption.

According to extracts they are cast when consumed but rpg bot says that you can call the type of energy when you call the delayed potion and energy resist type has to be called when cast.

I would go with A, you choose the type upon activation of the delayed extract. Normally extracts are cast once consumed, but delayed consumption would be an exception to that, because well, it's delaying that consumption.

I'm fairly certain it's A, for similar reasons as Azurespark. Secondly, it's clearly meant to be the Alchemist version of Contingency which states that the companion spell is essentially "cast" when the condition is fulfilled. You make no decisions about what the spell does until it's cast and you make no decisions about what the extract does until it's ultimately consumed and comes into effect.

Thanks a lot for the info \m/
