Ok so the rules state its quicker to travel to places with drift beacons of sufficient strength, with Absalom Station being the quickest because the starstone is a mega beacon.
But how discoverable are these beacons. I mean if a vast world culture fires up their first drift drive, can it somehow detect these beacons and head towards them, or does it have to know it's there, it's coords, before it heads there.
Basically would Absalom Station and other near space world's have loads of vast world cultures arriving, or would they be oblivious without the coordinates.
