I have ordered a subscription, my first, and nothing has been billed to my card and I am hearing of folks getting the PDF. Is there something wrong with my order? I may have been under the impression that subscritions would have been processed sooner than this. Can I get an update? Is there an error that i need to correct?

Access to the PDF is granted the moment your order has been processed for shipment. At the same time your credit card will be billed. This could be anytime between now and the 18th.
So, if your order hasn't shipped yet, you won't have access to the PDF.
If you order has shipped (indication is an email titled "Paizo Order #4358653 Shipment"), but don't have access to the PDF yet, some Customer Service Agent will have a look at things in a couple of hours.

Franz is correct. We usually have a shipping window in which we expect to ship all of the subscription orders. This month that window is longer than it usually is, and is through August the 18th. You order can ship anytime during the shipping window. You won't be charged or have access to the PDFs until your order is processed. When it is you will receive an email confirmation letting you know.
There is an error you can correct with your order though. It looks like we could not process your order due to a payment method failure. Let me know when you are ready and we can give it another try.

Your updated payment method authorized successfully, so everything looks good now. Your order should be on its way to you soon.
When we try to process an order and get a payment failure we send an email to the email address attached to your account. You should also be able to see it on the order in your order history. Since we have successfully authorized the card you won't see a payment failure on your order history anymore though.
