I have looked around and not found an answer to this question, but it may be because the answer is simple.
Is the Delayed Bomb discovery considered a bomb modification discovery, in that it cannot stack with other discoveries (or class features as applicable) that modify bombs? I noticed that most (if not all) discoveries that fall in to this category specifically say so in their descriptions, and Delayed Bomb does not.

According to my reading of it, Delayed Bomb is not a 'bomb modification' it is just a skill of the alchemist at delaying the chemical mixture and explosion.
It has no indication of being only able to apply to a standard bomb (as opposed to making a delayed Acid bomb) nor does it bear an asterisk on the chart and table indicating that it doesn't stack.
You should be fine creating delayed Acid Bombs or other such things. By this ruling, however, if there was a feat that had the prerequisites of knowing a certain number of 'bomb modification' discoveries, Delayed Bomb would not count towards them.
