Okay, so one thing I keep wondering is whether or not Demi-Planes are still going to be "a thing" in Starfinder. But I just had a thought... Given using the Drift shears off a few fragments of various planes, wouldn't a few demi-planes get caught in there every so often?
This might have implications for a sub-setting and scenario I once thought up: a city sized Demi-plane with an over-population issue that rivals the Kowloon walled city, and very little interaction (or ability to interact with) the material plane. An idea that originally called for a Demi-plane with an accelerated time-frame (say, year inside, day outside).
Porting it to Starfinder, the Drift does make the isolation issue a little easier to implement if we assume it got sheered off into the drift, but it leaves obvious questions like if the demi-plane would remain relatively intact or keep its properties should this happen.
There's also the question that if such a place was stuck in the drift, and had previously expanded their plane or new building through using create demi-plane spell, how would its sudden presence in the drift change that? Would they have no useful magic to create permanent structures or items? Would they have to scavenge materials floating around in the drift to create new items rather that whatever previous magic they used?
Would there be any traits the demi-plane would have to have for it to even support life in the drift? Abundance is an obvious one (or whatever the one for lots of natural food is) but does it also need to be air element aligned as well?
These are many questions I have running through my head.

Well, I have a theory on that. If the Hao Jin Tapestry is still on Golarion, then the demiplane it connects to might be a way to go to Golarion and see what's happened there. You would still have no idea where it is, but the drift pulling a piece of the tapestry demiplane would be a way to bypass whatever the gods did to lock away Golarion.

That is assuming that there is any way at all to do that. All those elf-gates on Castrovel that used to connect to Golarion will no longer get you there, for example.
