I'm wondering if there are any ideas out there to run my players through to give them a lore/feel for the upcoming AP? I like the players, even with running a 1 shot or 2, to just get a little history, lore, feel for the upcoming campaign, especially those not too familiar with the history of Golarion

We honestly haven't done a ton with Azlanti material in the form of adventures, surprisingly. One that comes to mind is City of Seven Spears from the Serpent's Skull Adventure Path, but that was mainly focused on the war with the serpentfolk in a city built outside of the empire. It still has plenty of flavor. The module From Shore to Sea has some Azlanti bits to it and some dealings with an aboleth, which is more on mark for this AP. Reading the chapter in Lost Cities of Golarion about the Sun Temple Colony and running a quick one shot from that material would be a cool idea too, especially because that takes place on an island in what was once Azlant, which fits with this AP pretty well.
Hope some of that helps.

Doubt you'd want to start them at the ending of an AP at a very high level, but there's a lot of good Azlanti stuff in
Brandon Hodge was pretty much the man when it came to Azlant architecture and culture before this coming AP came out. From Shore to Sea was also written by him.

Of course the empires are related but that adventure is steeped in Thassilonian lore, if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks guys. Maybe I'll do some reading and come up with something surrounding the Sun Temple Colony. Seems like a tough thing to just run separate parts of an AP and just tossing random PC's in the middle of a story. Adam, thanks for your kindly response. I might read all the material y'all listed and piece together my own stuff.
