A few semi-hypothetical questions, based on a character concept one of my players is toying with for our upcoming campaign:

How flexible is the physical appearance of Androids? Are they always blue with glowing circuits just under the skin, or do some appear more biological/human-like than others?

Is there an equivalent for Pathfinder's Pass for Human feat?

Is there an augment (perhaps for the skin system) that allows a character to pass for members of one or more races without making a Disguise check?

Would an Android, born into a body in some abandoned factory all alone (like the iconic operative Iseph) but wearing a disguise race augment, know that they are an Android at all?

An interesting concept for sure and I hope the answer to all this is sure go nuts but even if not its an easy enough think to house rule.

Given the way Androids are described, it seems impossible not to notice.

But given the scope (and mystery) of the setting, some other type of artificial something seems quite possible, whether it uses the rules for androids, humans or something else.

Someone, somewhere making Blade Runner type replicants and pulling the same kind of shenanigans seems completely viable.

When the android sleeps, the other part of their brain takes over and takes all needed actions to ensure that the android keeps on believing they are human when they wake up

What motivates this other part, what its nature is, what its capabilities are, are things best left to the GM's endless imagination
