So, internet: what the heck? Really? Really?
You have pictures of, like, everything!
Sigh.
Oh well - that's why I'm here!
I'm looking images!
Basically, there are an absolute ton of characters in Kingmaker! This is awesome!
... however pictures are hard to come by, as a player!
While it's nice and all that they exist in the books, it's difficult for a GM to hold the book, point to the character, and flip between the pages.
That said, we've used a few tricks, but... it would be nice if we could get solid imagery.
And the thing is, there is a ton of it out there! Like, a dozen different NPCs, ranging from the boy you rescue, Tig, to the grig you meat, Tyg-Titter-Tut!
Generally, you can find not only the original art, but even (when it was otherwise black and white) colored versions!
... and yet there is only a single image - the official one - of Satinder and Quintessa (I mean, really, Internet, I've got my safe search on, but you should have so much fan art of those alone that I can't help but run into it), and pretty much nothing from any characters that appear thereafter - with the exception of the final boss.
So... what gives?
I basically have everyone from the first books, and most up to where you meet Satinder/Quintessa Morne, but I'm lacking anyone beyond that, and dedicated searches have turned up nothing. I'm mostly interested in non-villains (though the villains, like Count Drelev or that one evil gargoyle), are cool, too!) and especially quest-givers (like Limm Ticklewing, or that archer who hires you to find evidence of cheating).
So... anyone? Anyone? Beuller? Anyone? Beuller? Beuller? Beuller? Anyone? Beuller?
And thanks!

I have used alternative art/portraits for npcs in my mythic Kingmaker AP (currently at Varnhold Vanishing).
If I cannot find one that is exactly like the description, I use an image that fits the character in my head instead.
The majority of them are images I pulled from previous APs and adventures I will likely never run (because I only have 1 life that isn't likely to last 150 years) including 3.5 stuff.
Does that help or do you require actual images?

Ah, I see. Hmm, like I said, I use images of characters from other gaming books, supplements, adventure paths, and so on (including Dragon and Dungeon magazines back when Paizo had the license), but I also use Google images a lot for some really obscure stuff. For example, I like the idea of anthropomorphic ferrets, weasels, badgers, and mongoose races in my Kingmaker AP so I tend to scour the net and places like DeviantArt (assuming the artist has allowed use of their art for personal use only). If there is a character I really, really, REALLY like, I go to Artists&Clients (I can't do the link from my phone because I am too lazy at the moment as I type this) and commission the artwork (I only did it once for a pc of mine and I have not regretted it since).
If I have some time this weekend, I will post some links to some sites that I have used before (assuming I find the right websites; I was up well into the dawn doing Internet surfing for the right picture on more than one occasion; I'm a little crazy sometimes).
Oh, one resource that is immensely helpful is Pinterest. I don't have it (I'm too stupid, like Pinky, to remember to bookmark stuff I might have need of one day to use to take over the world), but a lot of the Google images happen to come from people's Pinterest (which often have the right location of the original artwork).
Personally though, the thing that kills me in running Kingmaker is finding the right damn map that is appropriate for the random encounter or even one of the hex encounters (I was disappointed with the size of Varnhold so I built my own from scratch with background tiles and object tokens from multiple sources; the end result was too damn big for Roll20 to handle effortlessly. *SIGH*). I run my games online so accurate maps are critical to me.
Hopefully someone will start here with some useful links! :)

Much like Canadian Bakka, I've gone the route of just collecting as many portraits as possible, from the entire range of PF products and beyond, and if there's no portrait available or I don't like the one provided, I just go looking through my stash and pick something that fits how I envision that character in my head.
The main problem with fanart is that the vast majority is going to be iconics, PCs, or recurring characters that show up all through the entire adventure path... especially ones that show up in the very first book. A lot of groups never make it more than halfway through an adventure path, or if they do, a lot of storylines get discarded as the GM either condenses things down or rewrites stuff to better fit the interests of the party.
Remember, there is absolutely nothing wrong with tossing out entire plot arcs if they go in directions the party isn't interested in. If your players want to get involved in the Brevic Civil War, then maybe make that the entire focus of books 5 and 6. Sure, it's more work for you, but it will be far more rewarding than railroading them through something that just simply isn't as interesting.

Oh, this is super-true, and I'm not trying to negate that, at all.
First thing, though: I'm a PC (I'm in Thousand Breaths, and aware that there aren't too many more spoilers that I can run into - my GM is aware that I made this).
Second thing, though: I'm mostly just trying to gather images for not just me, now, but also for running other players through, later - generally for variable portions, also following them through various post-AP plots.
I'm mostly just surprised that, say Kissandra gets more fan-art than the actual Calistrian priestess, considering the latter shows up all the daggum time in my searches for everything vaguely-PF-related, especially when I'm not looking for her, and it's always and only the one picture (or the mini thereof).
It's a bizarre thing.
No, but, I mean, really. Sometimes, it's almost like,
Me: "Priest of Erastil, please, Google Image Search."
GIS: "Sure, here's Satinder." (Second row, third picture.)
Me: "Uh... okay, well, GIS, how about a female Pathfinder dragon."*
GIS: "Yeah! And here's Satinder."
Me: "Um... can I get some flumphs, GIS?"
GIS: "NO! YOU LOOK AT SATINDER, AND YOU LOOK AT HER, LIKE, RIGHT NOW!*"
Me: "I have! I swear, I've seen her! Look, she's a great character, and she's still an important part of our campaign, but there is fan art for everyone right up until her picture starts, then everyone just kind of stops making fan art, and all I want to do is get a picture of a daggum fairy, now!"
GIS: "Sure! Have some fairies!*"
Me: "Oh, wow, thanks, GIS, I-"
GIS: "SECRETLY THEY'RE ALL SATINDER."
Me: "Noooooooooo~!"
Anyway, if no one else does (and I ever get my act together/have more time) I'll, at least, be glad to go over the books and add pictures as a GM resource.
That said, if you guys have any specific pictures you've used where you go, "I really like this take better than the original." that you have, I'd love to see links to those, too!
EDIT: (Forgot to add my asterisk)
* To be fair, neither of these links actually show any direct links to Satinder, on this particular attempt - the one where I'm trying to show it, naturally. But it has happened - more than once! - on those exact searches, and usually near the top. I also suspect that if I played "six degrees" I'd find it in less than three - there were few actual dragons in that dragon search, either...

Really? I don't get that many fan-art or even official art images of Satinder on GIS when I am scavenging GIS. Maybe my computer knows my preference for females who do not do a whole lot of back-stabbing. Weird. *eyes computer with a new perspective* Although to be fair, that dang elven rogue keeps showing up all over the place like a really annoying Waldo.

Kissandra is by far the more interesting character, Satinder is just a tart :) although she is a very professional and active tart.
It is Svetlana who always shows up in my searches.
That's funny - both are interesting (and different) characters in our games!
(In fact, Kissandra just wed Jhod with Satinder's (surprising even Satinder) blessing, though K opted for an... a-traditional marriage, in this instance. Pretty sure exactly no one's game has developed along those lines...)
As for Svetlana, I've seen three of her: a black and white and two colored versions thereof. These are often put in context with other characters from book 1, especially Oleg, though Keston, Bokken, and Tig (the kid, not the fairy), as well as a random trapper/hunter also make consistent appearances with her. None are particularly more common, though.
