How to get involved in StarFinder Society organized play?

The StarFinder Society article came out recently. So how can I get involved?

I will be moving to Santa Monica CA around September through November and would love to get involved in GMing. I will be new to the Pathfinder rules but as StarFinder is new I think I can handle it. I have played RPGs for years.

The easiest way is to find out who the Santa Monica Pathfinder Society venture captain is and talk to that person, as the team behind Pathfinder Society will most likely be running Starfinder Society as well.

On this page you can find the list of people who have volunteered for those kinds of positions.

If there is no local venture captain, try a venture lieutenant or a venture agent, and if that fails try the regional venture captain.

An alternative would be to just find the nearest local game shop and see if they are interested in you hosting scenarios at their shop, or if they are willing to advertise for you hosting scenarios at some place nearby (or your own home ofcourse :))
