I know this is normally used for suggestions and constructive criticism but it is called 'Website Feedback', so you brought this on yourself. :)
I was surfing around like normal and when I navigated back to the home page, what do I see but a shiny new Advertisement strip.
It looks very nice but that subscription page looks even better.

I was going to jump on the bandwagon, complimenting the simple design of that subscription page. Then I noticed the fixed-width, and the white-space it causes.
This space left intentionally blank.

I know! Unfortunately, given the crunch on time/limited resources on my part, I wasn't able to get it all responsive and nice. However, that is the eventual intention with stuff like this.
A little stealth preview of the new site design perhaps?
It certainly is indicative of our preliminary styling. ;)

I am so glad I revised and revised and revised my comment down to what I did before posting. It was a massive rant, then a huge rant, then a merely big rant, then a simple illustration that sometimes I'm not very nice, then a passive-aggressive curmudgeonly sneer.
Thank you. I'll go back to waiting patiently.
But seriously, other than the white-space thing, that is attractive.
