Kyuss, a great old one? Or the age of Xhamen-Dor

I'm intending to run AoW for a group and given their interests was thinking of making Kyuss a GOO. Either that or reskin everything as fungal and go with Xhamen
Does anyone aside from me think this is a thematic fit?

Well... Kyuss is a human originally, and there are intertwined plots showing his story. That would have to be changed, but otherwise I don't see a problem.
