My players want to build a Pathfinder Lodge in their town and I'm considering how to do that. Do you think there already is a building that could appropriately function as PF Lodge? And if there isn't, how would you mechanically add it?

I would say that a Pf Lodge is pretty similar to the bardic college building.
We used a Mansion in our game last month.
Based somewhat on our impression of the Grand Lodge which we visited.
The Bardic College is kinda focused on Arts so I'm not sure whether it suits as Lodge. I thought a Pathfinder Society Lodge isn't necessarily a huge building, but more often close to what QM said - a mansion. Therefore I like your advice, I just wanted to somehow represent the lore seeking aspect of the lodge, maybe even adding magic items?
We didn't change any of the Mansion's stats, since it's a new PF Lodge it shouldn't be stuffed with anything. Rather it should serve as a base for Pathfinders, which at this point is just another club or society.

We created a lot of custom buildings back when we ran Kingmaker, including a Pathfinder Lodge:
Pathfinder Lodge (16 BP; the kingdom must encompass at least one known adventure site – GM’s discretion): Depending on whom you ask, the Pathfinders are either a group of brave explorers or a cabal of thieves and scoundrels. What cannot be denied is that trouble seems to follow in the wake. Stability -1; Prestige +1; city base value +1,000 gp; 2 minor magic items, 1 medium magic item; allows Libraries to specialize in Knowledge (dungeoneering); limit 1 per kingdom.
