Training with Vencarlo

Some of my PCs are interested in going to Vencarlo for sword training. What's the best way to handle that in terms of increasing their ability as a result of training. Would it require X number of sessions to gain some sort of stat increase? If so, is there a stat increase/training hours formula? Thanks in advance!

The most appropriate method would probably be to try to put something together based on the school system in Inner Sea Combat.

Oh this is interesting.
I have just read up on the school system from ISC and see that this could be a useful replacement for joining the guard and completing missions for them

In this case the benefits could be taken from the guard benefits per Cressida's section

Not so sure about them being both part of the school and the guard as a time availability question could be raised here. But if they do join both then some different rules would have to be crafted regarding benefits.

Unfortunately ISC focuses on - Dojos for monk training, Gladiator school for performance training, Military school and Thieves guilds.

Vencarlo's could arguably be based on any or a mixture of several given he was a bravo and the idea is training fencing / duelists. There is an element of show and of discipline in there

Also the rules could be used and adapted for the Cerulean Society...
