Any idea if there will be "weird" androids as well?

just guessing, Androids can be built to superficially resemble any species but they will retain their normal "senses" and as far as physical alterations for claws or extra limbs... alternate racial traits? Full on inbuilt weapons will probably be addressed as cybernetics and i bet it wouldnt take all that much before anyone could get a basic laser pistol grafted into a cyber arm.

If you are talking about something purpose built to have better senses, more limbs and inbuilt weapons for every contingency... that doesnt sound like something that was designed for free will anyways and might be better addressed as a very complex robot or AI controlled shell, more of a monster than a PC.

The natives of Aballon are self-modifying robots that come in all sorts of different shapes. I wouldn't be surprised if they're playable in some form. Even if they're "monsters", the devs have said they want monsters you fight to generally also be useable as player characters.

I am sure that somebody will come up with some sort of cyborg implants based on those in the Technology Guide for Pathfinder. Maybe androids will have some sort of advantage in incorporating them?

i thought cybernetics were an already discussed part of the core book. it sounds like there are 7 or 8 system slots that you can use for grafting in extra pieces.

what your describing sounds more like monstrous androids or a combat encounter waiting to happen, at best an npc of some sort likely.
