A Paladin's god

Advice

Hey guys creating a Oath of vengeance Paladin, the GM showed me the Sacred servant archetype and I was trying to find a deity (GM requirement) that a Paladin would follow that has the travel domain.

You can check the wiki or archives of nethys. The former one allows you to sort deity by domains.

Are looking for a certain flavor/theme?

Are looking for strong Domain choices?

I would really like the travel domain but from what I'm seeing it might not work. The flavor idea is that this is a paladin seeking redemption. He was part of a army which slaughtered a whole city and he has laid down his old life to make up for his crimes.

Apsu, Wadjet, and Zohls, are all LG Gods with the Travel Domain.

For flavor, Sarenrae is very fitting, as redemption is one of her areas of concern.

Her Domains are Fire, Glory, Good, Healing, and Sun.

Sarenae (NG). She's all about redemption and salvation. If you really want Travel, Abadar (LN) is the only valid choice for a SS Pally that gives it. Another good option is the Empyreal Lord Ragathiel (LG) to go along with your Oath of Vengence. He gives the Rage sub-domain. But not barbarian savage rage; righteous divine wrath rage.

I'd say those are probably your best choices. To summarize:

Sarenae (NG): Fire, Glory, Good, Healing, Sun; to emphasize redemption
Abadar (LN): Earth, Law, Nobility, Protection, Travel; for Travel domain
Ragathiel (LG): Destruction (Rage), Good, Law, Nobility; to emphasize Oath of Vengance, take Rage subdomain.

Sarenrae does sound about right, not keen on the domains. Is the Sacred Servant worth it or just stay a "plain" oath of vengeance

In the Forge combat model, the standard Pally role would be that of the Hammer with a minor in Arm. Sacred Servant makes you lean more heavily towards Arm by providing more support-type abilities and boosting your spellcasting. Vengeance boosts your Hammer capabilities further by letting you channel LoH charges into Smite. If you want to have a bit more capacity to aid your party in a pinch, grab SS. If you want to be more a straight offense character, don't bother and just take "plain" vengeance.

Tough call, with oath and the ability to lose LOH, I figured would make up for the loss from SS so increase spellcasting while still maintaining offense. But yeah I'm not feeling the god/domain combo. Might ask the GM for a slight ruling

Well, Zohls areas of concern, are Determination, investigation, and truth.

It would seem a decent deity for such a Paladin.
