I won a game in the lottery that I put a low number on and I found a event I would much rather go to and it won't let me sign up for it. My only reason for buying a ticket was to try some starfinder stuff and I put 4 on every one and got the one thing I didn't absolutely want. Now I just want to try and salvage the weekend and look for some other things I might enjoy. Does anyone know how I can give up my spot for "Blood In the Water" on Friday morning 8am -1pm?

Yes. What Tallow said. Navigate to the event in the event listings. There should be a "remove" button for any event currently on your schedule.
Oh, yeah, forgot about that. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what happens to those event slots at that point?
I'm guessing they just become something you can sign up for on open sign up, which is what happened with the special when the lottery didn't fill it.

I got into 2 lottery events but they conflict with other plans so I need to trade them. I would go through the Event Trading system, but I'm not looking for specific lottery events. I'm more interested in seeing what events folks got that they might want to trade for one or both of the ones I got. I'm open to considering most trades.
I will say I would LOVE to get into one of the Starfinder games, so if anyone has one of those and would like to trade, please let me know!

You can also try to trade for another lottery event at the same time. Check out event trading and take a look!
That works, though given the short period for trading, it may be best to simply Remove it and sign up for something else. Those "Blood in the..." events look well organized by Necromancers, but I doubt you'll be able to trade them in for anything Starfinder related.

Marc - you may want to add a few trades you would accept to the event trading, you're not limited to a single option. Many may not check the forums for it. Long Odds is a pretty decent lottery selection.

Good point! I didn't realize you could do that at first, but I've not put up a number of trades, so hopefully someone is interested! :)
