What are the rules for replacing characters mid-scenario?

3+ encounters = credit, <3 = no credit

So you should let them know if they'll be eligible for credit when they join so they can make an informed choice.

As stated for XP. All players involved get a chronicle regardless, gold for any encounters they completed and Prestige for any success conditions achieved when they were present.
