Horror Realms, books 1 and 6 of Carrion Crown, book 6 of Shattered Star, and the Crimson Throne hardcover all come to mind as solid places for both inspiration and rules. In addition, the GMG and Occult Adventures (both on the PRD) and Horror Adventures (which should be there eventually) have a lot of solid foundation material.
And if there's anything you need to know about haunts, feel free to PM me - I consider myself an expert on the subject. (I have a thread somewhere in the Carrion Crown subforum with a pile of custom haunts, if you're interested.)

The Rise of the Runelords adventure path has great examples of haunts in
It's a great source for figuring out what sorts of things haunts can be expected to do. Lots of variety there.
Kalindlara, if you can post a direct link to that thread, I'm curious too. Probably no immediate use for haunts in my upcoming sessions, but the subject is an intriguing one.
