So the next AP is "Blank"? Awesome!
For those not familiar with the early days of the Pathfinder RPG, Blank is one of the first tested AP, formely a spin-off of the legendary "Nada" module in the forgotten Caves & Worms magazine. The whole revolutionary concept in Blank was that characters aren't really heroes but more like commoners. The idea came after too many fans asked for playing villains or uberpowerfulspacemarines. Now the very interstning twist in the whole Blank concept is that pretty much nothing happens and the characters are facing the terrible suspense of what it something did happen. The ennemy evades all encounters, loots somehow always end up being wild gooses or bolwing up before you can grab it and the party nevers finds enough gold to level up. This worldy acclaimed AP won half of the awards in the LuxembourgGenConFairForMonarchyBGG.
We are all tremendously excited by the announcement that this AP will be adapted to PACG. It is actively tested right now, with the whole SharkyUndGolemly team heavily involved in making sure their prefered characters spend whole scenarios achiveing the least possible things.
We are of course expecting a bunch of preview blogs. I cannot obviously spoil anything but as a teaser, we can reaveal that the major characters of the RPG franchise will of course make it in the rooster. So you will be able to play Nobody, Unknown, Doe, Anyone, Crew or even CanonFood if you buy the character add-on.
In the base box, you will find chapter 0 twice. You will then be able to add each month another copy of chapter 0, ensuring nothing really new strikes your character.
The box is full of goodies like wooden stick and water guns weapons, fizzled spells, bikini armors, lucky charm stone of the church of the beloved pyramidal scam items and incompetent but sexy allies. My favorite is the Blessing of Mike that gives you 2 dice if you use a skill not appearing in that AP, or allow you to explore your own hand.
If you roll only 1s on your dice, you have a chance to complete the chapter 0. In that case you get to win the loot Fish of April that enables you to restart the chapter 0 with another character or to unlock the NoCluePlaytester, a character specificaly designed for the yet to be announced Season of ______.
As usual there is a riddle included in the AP, to ensure the fun of all forum fans: if you solve it, you may find the way to actually get your role card without ever moving to chapter 1.
Paizo is currently investigating creating the Class Decks of Nothingness, but nothing is official yet.
Words are that they are looking for a partner to create intangible minis to help playing the game, but the head of production cannot confirm or deny that thos minis even make sense.
