Something close to this usually happens multiple times per game.

I'm playing Drelm in MM PACG.
My 2 skill feats have gone into Wis.
I have also made sure I have selected the power feat that allows my second power to work on Obstacles or traps.

in 3-2E:
I draw a barrier that requires a disable 8, with the Obstacle, and Trap traits.
so my dice are: Disable d8+4 + Divine d8+5. Autosuccess.
For the heck of it, I roll the dice: Snake eyes!

At the end of Runelords, I avoided the location that cancelled all 1s and 2s rolled. That would have been over half my dice usually.

I have a couple of D4 that want me dead too. I stepped on them with my bare foot. Twice.

Your first mistake was playing as anyone but Mavaro. :-P

On my table, when this happens, we claim the dice are just saving their "mojo" for when it really counts.

Now, if I'd only fail the check on a roll of 2, and *then* I roll snake eyes... Well, let's say I'm not above dice-shaming, by throwing the offenders back into their box until the end of the scenario.

Oh no. I have several rolls per game, where I needed a 2 to get and rolled a 1.

I gave my d6 a timeout the other day. I threw it on the floor next to the trash. I made sure it understood that the proximity to the trash can was NOT ACCIDENTAL.

The title of this thread made me laugh out loud.

I played OP with a guy who had this affliction. My favorite was when he needed to roll a 4 to defeat a zombie and rolled a 3 on 3 d8s.

elcoderdude: Ouch.

When assembling my dice I have to use the average die roll as my theoretical max if I want any chance.

You may want to replace your dice, sounds like they are terribly uneven. http://www.1000d4.com/2013/02/14/how-true-are-your-d20s/

It's not the dice. Fate has it in for me.

I've bought brand new dice, and let a friend roll them first. They roll average or just above over several rolls. I pick them up and am licky to see average.

That doesn't mean it isn't the dice. The way some people role it doesn't seem to make too much difference, but whatever quirk of how I role reliably finds any irregularity in the dice which is why I'm aware of the issue. What brand of dice did you get?
