Up to three characters can roll (I assume one per Knwoledge: local, History, Religion) DC 15. Up to 2 can help another (to get +2), with an additional +2 from the library. 1 roll per 8h
They do 1-die + Int «knowledge damage» to the Library. There are several alternative methods to calculate that die, but you can simply give 1d4 to most chars, 1d8 to scholar classes (like a wizard) and 1d12 to knowledge based classes, such as a Bard or Oracle of Lore.
They also do +1 damage per 5 extra rolled above the DC 15.
Once they reduce the Knowledge Points of the library to a certain treshold, read that paragraph. IE the library starts at 35, if they do 10 damage, reduce it to 25, and read the 30 and 25 entries
