I just placed Order 4241031 for the Monster Hunter's Handbook, but looking at the upcoming products in the Companion line, they look pretty cool so I'd like to change the one-time order to a Player Companion Subscription. Can you change that for me, or do I need to have the order cancelled and place a new order to start the sub?
While not a staff member, my experience is that if you subscribe to a line you have a preordered product in, it automatically changes the preorder to be a part of the subscription, you don't end up with two copies.
There's been a bit of talk about that with the Starfinder preorders to remind me. :-)

What Paul said is correct, though technically our system will still generate a new subscription item and cancel one copy that's already been ordered. So if, for example, you had preordered two copies and then started a subscription, our system should cancel one of the preorders so that you still end up with the same quantity of books.
You can always let us know when you do decide to start the subscription, and we can just take a peek into the account to make sure that everything processed correctly. Just let me know if there's anything else I can help out with in the meantime. :)

Thanks for the information! I have started my subscription, and it looks like there's only one Monster Hunter's Handbook in my sidecart, so that seems to be working right.
I presume that the Pathfinder Advantage discount will apply to the Player Companion when it actually ships with the first issue(s) of Ironfang Invasion?

I've checked into your sidecart, and it looks like it all worked out. I see one canceled Handbook, and one that is attached to a subscription. Hooray! And yes, the discount should apply once the order ships, but just let us know if there are any hiccups with that.
