So I've got a medium who tend to call upon the spirit of Durvin Gest.
Somewhat as Janira does he has a tendency to try and regale his allies with brief tales of bravery or clever escapes from Danger that Durvin Gest did.
While I had enough stories floating in my head to make good for a scenario or two I found myself playing a three part series and my witty quips were running a bit thin by the end.
So I am hoping to get some inspiration from you lovely folk on more stories to tell so I can add variety.
Looking for short bits no more than a few sentences, generally with a humorous touch, with tavern references and Golarion lore notesa plus, but I'll happily accept anything suggestions.
Examples:
"This reminds me of the time Durvin Gest found out that the prices in the City of Brass's finest tavern were in platinum instead of gold. There he was clever enough to escape out the back door, perhaps we should look for one here before giving up."
"Do not fear these trolls fellow Pathfinders, for just as Durvin Gest kept his pack well stocked I indeed have enough alchemist's fire to solve our problem."
"Just as Durvin Gest had to evade Chelish navy patrols on his way back from the Arch of Aroden we should consider at least starting with a stealthy approach."
Thanks in advance, and if we ever find out that Durvin Gest is secretly alive I'll have a fun story of figuring out who I've actually been channeling. Also watch out for Eric Brittian's upcoming medium

"You know, Durvin Gest was one of the first to work out that Ioun Stones can have negative resonance... Be careful when you touch that..."
"Have you danced with a pale maiden in the darkest night?"
"The Pigs Paunch is more than an establishment, its a way of life.."
"Just like Pathfinder Chronicles and the exploits of Durvin Gest - don't believe everything you read."
"If there is a copy of volume five in that crate, I call dibs..."
"Gest did find the fountain of youth in the end, I just look this good naturally."
"Its times like this i wish i had my own pirate ship..."

There's not much I can do to make this short, so I'll spoiler it to reduce my post's footprint. I know this is not exactly what you asked for but if you want I could share some adventure stories that could add to the "lore." Like the time Durvin Gest got his ass kicked by Durvin Gest at the GenCon 2016 special :-)
After the trouble with the Shadow Lodge who used goblin slaves for manual labor and guards. The Society was left with an infestation of the little buggers when the Shadow Lidge was brought back into the fold. Kreighton Shane wondered if they could be trained to be productive agents. So starts his grand social experiment. He picked out an unusually intelligent and somewhat "dim" (even by goblin standards) goblin who he convinced was the reincarnation of Durvin Gest. He was instructed in the ways of magic and combined with his skill with a small blade became a magus. To get around the goblin's natural hate/fear of writing, Kreighton developed a way to depict the spell book pictorially. That and the addition of many flashy energy-based spells meamt it was well received.
The experiment worked exceedingly well and Durvin has made great advancement (level 8) and proven to be a successful agent. That he goes around introducing himself as "Durvin Gest, hero of Pathfinder" is no end of amusement to Kreighton. He even thinks his sword "pale maiden" was reincarnated with him as well.
He is really smart but with a child-like naïveté and impulsive attention deficit. Despite a Charisma of 5, usually has the highest diplomacy at the table (thank you clever wordplay) which makes for very entertaining social encounters. He is no end of fun to play and have had numerous requests by local players to play with him. Easily my favorite PFS character and perhaps my all-time favorite rpg character.
