Question Regarding Magus (Mindblade) Psychic Weapons

Rules Questions

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

Does a psychic weapon manifested by a mindblade using their psychic pool count as a weapon enhanced by their arcane pool for the purpose of Magus Arcana (such as Bane Blade, Devoted Blade, Ghost Blade, or Planar Hunter) or Feats (such as Banishing Critical)?

Liberty's Edge

It does not appear to.

Rules as Written I am inclined to agree. However I am playing a Mindblade in a PFS game... So I am trying to figure out which Arcana a Mindblade can actually take and/or benefit from.

However I would argue that it was Intended to function as such because:
A Psychic Pool counts as an Arcane Pool for the purpose of feats, abilities, and class features.

Psychic Weapon is a still technically a "weapon", and it is technically being enhanced by my psychic pool (which counts as an arcane pool) in the sense that it receives an Enhancement Bonus, and potentially special abilities such as Shock or Shocking Burst from being manifested by my psychic pool.
