arrow modifications for pfs

durable arrows are 20x the price of a normal arrow, blunt arrows are 2x the price or a normal arrow, so is it possible to buy a durable blunt arrow set at 40x i.e. 40g? Are there any rules for this that i am missing?

You can only buy items that actually exist in PFS. If durable and blunt were properties you could add to arrows, and not specific arrow types then it might work. But they read as specific arrow types. I don't think PFS would allow it though.

PS: You might want to ask in the PFS section because PFS is really strict about the rules.

Wraithstrike is correct. Since neither blunt nor durable are a property or material, you can't combine them.

That is not entirely correct. Where is what the Alchemy Manual says,

You can unequivocally combine alchemical effects with "other types of ammunition." However, you'll note that this section requires that the ammunition is of the type, "piercing." This is what, by RAW, prevents you from making a durable blunt arrow.

It's possible that PFS/Paizo might allow durable blunt arrows. I know I've seen players with durable blunt arrows in PFS. But a strict reading says no, because it's blunt, not piercing.
