What the largest size category you can get to while retaining human shape?

Is it possible for spells to get you too colossal I've been perusing the spell lists haven't found anything yet.

Giant Form II gets you to Huge.

Righteous might, since it isn't a polymorph effect, can increase you from Huge humanoid (via giant form II) to gargantuan.
Colossal, sadly, is right out. Still, you can at least become gargantuan.

It doesn't matter if righteous might is a polymorph effect or not. Giant form is. As such, you can't benefit from both at the same time.

Quote:
You can only be affected by one polymorph spell at a time. If a new polymorph spell is cast on you (or you activate a polymorph effect, such as wild shape), you can decide whether or not to allow it to affect you, taking the place of the old spell. In addition, other spells that change your size have no effect on you while you are under the effects of a polymorph spell.

It doesn't say you can use a polymorph spell to change size while under the effects of another polymorph spell. It says you can't use any size-changing spell (polymorph or not) while affected by any polymorph spell.

Except for aasimar heritage shenanigans.

Or, come to think of it, possession.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

A huge bipedal sythesist can benefit from Righteous Might.

Aasimar heritage shenanigans? Do tell!

Not all aasimar are descended from humans. Aasimars can be born of any intelligent race, though human aasimars are the most common... Less common humanoids, such as lizardfolk, catfolk, tengus, and others, can also produce aasimars, though given these races’ exotic appearance, members of the more common races may have trouble telling such aasimars apart from their kin... It should be noted that while any creature that breeds with a celestial may give birth to half-celestial offspring, only humanoids can give birth to aasimars. Thus, while it’s possible to encounter a half-celestial dragon, unicorn, or griffon, any children of such creatures would be either half-celestials or normal members of their race... Non-human aasimars have the same statistics as human aasimars with the exception of size. Thus a halfling aasimar is Small but otherwise possesses the same statistics and abilities as a human aasimar—the difference is purely cosmetic. Non-human aasimars do not possess any of the racial abilities of their base race.

RUNE GIANT

LE Gargantuan humanoid (giant)

A rune-giant-descended aasimar with Scion of Humanity racial trait could be raised to Colossal size by enlarge person at level 1.

Yeah, you don't want to try this in a game. There's a reason I called it shenanigans.

Enlarge Person does not work on an Aasimar who lacks the Scion of Humanity trait.

Hence my specification that they have the Scion of Humanity trait. Although other aasimar could still use things like the abyssal bloodrager power and righteous might.
