Adding spells to magus spellbook

Hi,

I'm currently playing a magus and throughout my adventure I came to acquire a very interesting spellbook owned by one badass wizard. The problem is I can't learn/copy a spell which is not in the magus spell list.

Soooo...

Is it possible for a magus tu learn wizard spells other that going for the "spell blending" arcana ?

Not unless it is on the Magus spell list or at high levels you get the Magus ability to add wizard spells to your book.
One House Rule I have thought about it allowing Magus to add lower level spell earlier then the ability would allow. But I have not tested this out to see if it is too powerful or unbalancing.

Ask the DM about spell research to add wizard spell's to your magus's spell list.

The rules are already in place in the core rulebook, they just require case-by-case permission.
