Brawler Class

Rules Questions

So I'm creating a brawler class. As I was reading it, it said my brawler levels count as both monk levels and fighter levels for the purposes of qualifying for feats, but does not grant feats normally granted to monks and fighters based on class level. So does that mean I would or wouldn't be granted the extra feat a fighter gets a first level. I don't completely understand it.

"Martial Training" doesn't grant you any free combat feats, although "Martial Flexibility" allows you to gain them temporarily. Martial training allows to you qualify for feats that are normally only available to monks and fighters. For example, when you are a 6th level brawler, you would be allowed to gain the Disruptive feat.

Thanks alot for the help! That makes sense.
