Attack of Opportunity when standing up

Rules Questions

Hi!

Rules are quite clear that
when you are prone, melee attacks against you get +4 to hit
and
when you get up, you provoke attacks of opportunity

So, question is: the attack of opportunity that you provoke while getting up, does it get the +4 to hit (i.e. are you considered to be prone or not during the act of getting up).

You're considered still prone, which helps prevent a tripping loop (if you were considered 'up' then you could be tripped while attempting to stand)

Yes. Attacks of Opportunity happen before the triggering action.

An attack of opportunity "interrupts" the normal flow of actions in the round. If an attack of opportunity is provoked, immediately resolve the attack of opportunity, then continue with the next character's turn (or complete the current turn, if the attack of opportunity was provoked in the midst of a character's turn).

They're still prone when you get your AoO, they finish standing up after.
