Hi all,
As we are coming toward the close of another year ye olde spreadsheets are getting pretty full and we can see interesting trends about what people liked and what they didn't, and I just thought a few might be of interest. We aren't QUITE finished with 2016 yet, but I was a bit staggered to discover that, already in the first 11 months of 2016, Legendary Games has published 129 new products, including 5E conversions of existing Pathfinder products. That probably explains why when I'm doing taxes the layout folks are usually near the top. :)
As of this writing, we are at precisely 350 products in our catalog. Considering we had 2 products in our first year (2011) and maybe a dozen in 2012, the acceleration has been something else.
I switched over how I was doing my spreadsheets in 2014, so it would take some work to reconstruct best-seller lists for earlier years, but just for the sake of amusement, here were our Top 20 products from 2015 in terms of total sales (including PDF, hardcopy, VTT files, and HeroLab files; it does not include sales as part of a Kickstarter - maybe it should, but that's a calculation for another day):

Very interesting to see that Ultimate Relationships did so well, but that Imperial Relationships (which I consider an essential addition) doesn't even get a look in.
Still, awesome to see what last year looked like, and can't wait to see the 2016 figures!

I think Imperial did pretty well in 2014, when both were first released, but I'll have to look and see. I only have organized stats for the last half of 2014 in my current spreadsheet; I'd have to reconstruct the first part of the year. Might do that sometime this weekend if I have some downtime.
That's a mighty fine list. Pity the Legendary Heroes line didn't do better though. I hope this doesn't lead to its being put on the back burner, and I really enjoy what you did with the Paladins, Rogues, and Swashbucklers books.

Oh I'd count all the items on this list as successful. These are just the top of the top. Of course I always want to see more, More, MORE!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing some info for 2016 - and most specifically, how the Legendary Planet stuff is selling. I'm a kickstarter backer so I'm in it for the full AP; I'd love to see it do well so that LG can do supplements for their own AP in the way that they do for Paizo's output.
