Speed Javelins and other thrown weapons

Rules Questions

So, "When making a full-attack action, the wielder of a speed weapon may make one extra attack with it."

What happens if the full-attack action is one that involves the weapon being thrown, such as with a thrown Javelin? Is the Speed property near-pointless, or does it somehow hit the target twice despite being thrown once?

Common sense says it's useless on a thrown weapon. But RAW people will argue that since the rules don't specifically exclude thrown weapons then it should some how work. *shrugs*

Now that I think about it though, if you have speed and returning on a thrown weapon maybe that could get you a second attack. I know returning says it returns at the beginning of your next turn, so it would have to be a GM ruling.

The feat "Ricochet Toss" would do the trick. It allows your weapon to return to you immediately after it hits its target.

I don't know why they didn't work returning that way It would of so not of been op.
