Eidolon attack bonuses

I read somewhere online that if my summoner goes into melee with my eidolon, then the eidolon gets a +2 attack bonus. But I can't find this in the rules anywhere. I believe I read in online in the Summoner's handbook. Anybody know if this is in the rules somewhere?

I assume they mean the flanking bonus. Any member of your party can flank with the eidolon, not just you.

Might be the +2 AC modifier you get at 4th level?
