I was looking at the different spheres again and decided to check out Conjuration and see if it was as fun as some of the rest. Sadly, it doesn't look like it.
This stems a bit from the need to select Extra Companion a lot.
"You may select (form) talents multiple times, but no more than once per companion, unless the talent says otherwise."
To me this reads that I cannot have a creature with the Draconic Creature(form) talent and the Quick Creature(form) talent. Am I wrong?
Sorry, with that reading you may have more than a single form talent on your summon. You simply can't give the same creature a form it already has, and the form is one creature per sphere invested. This mostly means that you'll be focusing on a single creature, or becoming a conjuration specialist as the conjuration sphere is very expensive.
The way I read it is this.
I could not select Powerful Companion (form) twice on the same critter because it does not say I can. I could select it twice if each time I selected it, it was for a different critter.
I could also select Powerful Companion (form) and Quick Companion (form) on the same critter.
I could also select Battle Creature (form) twice on the same critter because it specifically says so.

No problem. You can make some cool fun critters, it just takes some magic talents to make it happen.
