I would like to suggest doing Map Packs in the form of modular starship rooms. For example, the first one could be an Elven ship, the next one Human ship, all done so each tile (or two tiles) is a complete section.
Then you could release a pack of living quarters, done for different ships from different cultures. Or engine rooms. Or bridges. Then we could mix and match sections, giving the PCs' ship an organic feel to it.
Thoughts?

First: I think it's a fantastic idea!
You mention PC ships, but my first thought was maps for boarding enemy ships and starbases. Of course this assumes a ship combat system where boarding may be a viable option. (space pirates ftw!)
Starbases and capital ships will take the role of dungeons, with multiple rooms, hallways and security checkpoints to pass through before you reach the bridge/reactor/AI core/etc.
map packs for this: yes please! (sections for differnt racial designs, blueprints for small/medium spacecraft, modules for 'space dungeons' - i want it all).

They already have a flip map and map packs for space ships. They came out with Iron Gods.
They don't have floor plans for PC ships or enemy ships though. I think a flip map for cargo carrier and pirate corvette is a really good idea. Like the one they did for swing ships.
True, but, considering how limited the material was, I'd say it'd be better if Paizo would be able to devote a whole series of packs to starships. I think they should also conjure a similar idea for planet surfaces.
