I received a notice that this order had shipped (and should arrive tomorrow at the latest), but the corresponding PDFs do not appear in my downloads and tracking information still shows no information available.

Also note that others are reporting similar issues in the CotC hardcover thread.

Hello CBDunkerson,

Your order shipped out today and has 4-8 business days in transit to you. You may have been looking at the confirmation email which says, "expected to ship from our warehouse by Friday, October 14". The PDFs were granted when the order shipped today (it shipped just a little while after you made this post). I can see the PDFs in your downloads. If you arrange your downloads by date added they should be the first and second items on the list.
