Boons from #8-00 The Cosmic Captive

Last weekend I got a chance to do The Cosmic Captive. I am looking at the boon Ranginori's Debt, my character is level 10. I reads

Spoiler:

"Level 9-11: Add call lightning storm and cure critical wounds to the list of spell-like abilities you can use"

My question is this a permanent change for the character, and only useable once a day (like all spell like abilities)

Or is it check this off have this for one cast then it is gone.

I read it as Added to the character sheet permanently. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The text preceding it says:

"You can activate this boon as a standard action by checking one of the boxes that precedes it, gaining one of the benefits based on your level when you activate the boon."

So you can use it twice. You dont gain it as a spell like ability.

If you've checked all the boxes, you can't check boxes to activate it anymore. Though, you don't have to cross it off (some folks have aesthetic objections to crossing stuff off), it's just no longer available to you to use.
