Does deadly agility work with thrown weapons?

I realize that the pre-req of weapon finesse doesn't matter but Deadly Agility just says weapons that can be weapon finessed can use dex to damage. Can a light thrown weapon be and gain dex to damage?

I do not believe that is the intention of the feat.

It says that you may use dexterity in place of strength when wielding a light or finesse weapon. Throwing is not wielding.
