Alligator grap attack?

During the Edge of Anarchy the Pc's have to go and fight an Alligator Gobblegut i believe. My question is on his grab attack. I assume this is a standard grapple attack vs cmd. But my question is they make a point of saying that he is 500 pounds how does the fact the is pulling them in affect the players grapple check. Thanks for the help.

I would say it is how much they can lift off the ground which is double their maximum load, so if they have a strength of 16 or more they can maintain their footing and not fall into the water.

If you want to be nice you can say it is how much they can push or drag which is five times their maximum load, so if they have a strength of 10 or more they are safe.

Of course if ol' Gobblegut goes into a death roll I would just toss them into the drink.
