Maybe I'm explaining it poorly. This character is yours.
Not selected from a list, not pieced together from written options, yours.
If you want to do something Justice Based using PF material, Smite or Challenge or Rage [Righteous Wrath style] are all viable. Or something unique.
Concept for a justice character I just brainfarted:
You hunger for the energy of the evil within people. Every hit against evil foes gives you a hole through which to draw their essence.
You cut them and suck their souls through the wounds.
Every hit you make the opponent must make a fortitude save or suffer 1 con bleed per round while you are within 20ft/lvl
The dc is lvl based
I'm sorry, I sort of get it now.
I would guess some sort of divine warrior, whom can summon an aspect of power like a stand user from jojo.
Be back in a while, youtubing some Jojo clips.
Jojo... Bizarre Adventure....
I'm familiar with it from a distance. Haven't read/watched any of it yet though.
Please feel free to continuw to brainstorm while I detour for research.
That seems very much like a synthesist summoner to me
Able to have energy manifestations by bending natural forces.
Time stopping powers.... somehow.
Revelations brought by his/ or her faith.
Were these intended as separate possibilities, or all parts of the same somewhat diluted concept?
Ideas, I think the only one out of them now thinking more into would be the revelations. They wouldn't work on the terms like an oracle however.
Tell me more about this revelations idea of yours.
I kind of like foresight I guess. Maybe akin to divination. I don't how exactly it would work. I wouldn't like it to be in a sense like seeing the full on future, but maybe cryptic warning. Maybe more an Rp thing however.
This is doable. Please keep spitballing ideas of how that might possibly work or any alternatives that might appeal to you. Heading to town briefly.
I'm going to start working on this foresight hero you had in mind, if you have anything else for it, or had a change of heart let me know.
Flash stepping, that is pretty cool. Using divine energy of prediction to outpace attacks. Need something to enhance attacks however.
You really don't NEED something to enhance attacks, that's baked into the system.
Think more special moves of all stripes. Different attacks are great, 'buffing' not so much.
Out of curiosity, is there any spots open for this game? This seems like fun and unique.
Yes!
We have a Tuesday afternoon/evening Rise of the Runelords looking for one player.
Great! Just a few questions to clarify, if you don't mind.
What role would benefit the party? Anything needed or am I good to pick anything?
You're using Roll 20 correct? Anything a newbie to that should know?
Would my character need to be PFS legal, or would it be made using your system?
made using my system, a collaborative custom creation between GM and player.
We have one hero so far for that game, the other character is undetermined.
So tell me Hawk, what sort of character would you like to play?
Currently I have two main ideas, but am leaning towards the first.
1. A runic elemental master, his magic comes from the intricate tattoos that mimic patterns found in nature and the universe. He'd be a mix of magic and martial, with a focus on fisticuffs and short range elemental manipulation.
2. A shadow mage, whose pursuit of knowledge of the dark led to his shadow gaining sentience among other things. A sneaky tricker sort of Mage able to create shadow stuff.
Alright, I understand.
Kay, what about a way of, to add in something more survivalist ranger style. Give him something that would do good for working a border lands protecting the peace. Maybe going along that sense of divine protector. A holy power that isn't smite and can be more versatile, working for things outside of combat.
@Nenkota: Now we're talking. That's a rock solid theme I can work with. Expect results later this evening.
@Hawk: so the Runic Elemental Master is more of a Dabbler [think Bard, Alchemist, Magus, Inquisitor, etc etc etc, max 7th level spells] or more of a Spellsword [think Ranger, Paladin Bloodrager, max 5th level spells]?
As to the shadow mage, a focus on tangible manipulation of shadow as a material for objects and creatures?
Quick confirmation question, you still interested in working for Erastil or more of a general nature [or general Good] divine protector?
The R.E.M is closer to a magnus I think, mostly self improvement and elemental control/effects, and that totally works for the shadow mage. Thanks.
We could choose one to start developing now, or wait to see which will mesh better with the party.
Here is the actual thread for that campaign Hawk.
Lets start developing the Runic Elemental Master, the character feels more there for me.
Having read your system a bit more, I think Spell blade with a ritual object approach to his magic, specializing in elemental.
I'll move over to the thread. Thank you.

Fatigue and more family expectations than expected procluded me from finishing tonight despite my desire to. Tomorrow morning you shall have your first draft (to be reviewed and adjusted if needbe.)
I'm about 80% done with this Draft Nenkota. You should go ahead and roll your stats.
3d6, twelve times take the best six.
Got as far as I can on my own, I need you to choose a spellcasting Style and a spellcasting Type and we'll go from there.
3d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6) = 14
3d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4) = 14
3d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 5) = 12
3d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 6) = 17
3d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 4) = 9
3d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 6) = 11
3d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) = 5
3d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 6) = 15
3d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 5) = 8
3d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3) = 7
3d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 1) = 4
3d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1) = 5
Spontaneous and Faith
Choose four first level spells known from the Ranger, Druid or Paladin lists. You may use third party or 3E spells if you like.
As a note, the only factors in Spell DC are Spell Level and Class Level, meaning your first level spells will start falling behind eventually but will start out as good as those of a Mage.
Divine Favor
Entangle
Detect Magic
Create Water
Let's scratch Detect Magic and Create Water. Those are typically level 0 spells. If you *really* want them, we could burn a single level 1 slot for 'orisons' so to speak.
Ill look into the list again and pick something better.
How about...
Know The Enemy
Thunderstomp
Looks good, choose a feat that appeals to you for your concept without regard for prerquisites.
You're set Nenkota. I'm feeling really under the weather right now so I'm posting this from bed by way of phone. Later tonight or tomorrow morning I'll PM you the link to the document I've been making you.
As a note, how does 11 AM Pacific sound to you for start time?
Speaking of, we're a player short so you're getting an extra level. Ideally we'll find a third player by the time the party should reach level 2 normally.
I'm in the gameroom right now.
White Mage type character -
Took the following rolls from the table: 6: 18; 14; 13; 13; 11; 11 (they have not been placed to a stat yet)
Skills - Knowledge: Planes, Knowledge: Religion, and Linguistics
Good save: Fortitude
Poor Saves: Reflex & Will
HP: 7 (rolled 2d4) in the chat. Starting at 12 HP
Crafting something very loosely based on Yuna from FFX - White Mage with a touch of summoning.
Magic Style/Type are - Spontaneous w/ Faith/Innate as the source.
Shoot, somehow I mis-remembered Today's game as 3 Eastern rather than 2.
If you guys are still available I'd like to play.
Can't today, also this was bi-weekly?
It was, but I thought we were transitioning to weekly since the original bi-weekly player had to quit.
Skipping this week is fine though, gives a chance for our 3rd player [who is really sick today] to participate in our first session.
